About Me

Hi, I’m Kate!

The challenges in my life (moving to the Netherlands, long-term unemployment of my spouse, sustaining long-term romantic relationship, welcoming and raising our kids, soul-search at the job market, two-year long effort to lead my team through many changes, and finally falling burned-out ill), although very tough at times, guide me on a path of personal growth, flourishment and liberation.

I’m excited to help others along, as nothing else motivates me more than how we go about with ourselves and each other. After all, no matter what objectively happens, or how much money or success we can enjoy, our perception is colored by the state of our relationships. 


I have followed the practices of yoga, mindfulness, meditation, learned non-violent communication, read dozens of self-help books, attended workshops, retreats, followed courses and personal therapy plans.

All the insights I have combined in the SafeWithin method: a neuroscience-inspired hands-on approach to disentangle our experiences into bodily sensations, thought processes and emotions (mindfulness  & meditation), learn to give yourself the needed holding and support (bodywork-enhanced zijnsorientatie), take responsibility for your feelings (NVC), weaken and dissolve self-doubt (bodywork-enhanced zijnsorientatie), and step into the field of unconditional love!
